“Deanna Walker’s classes are very encouraging, nurturing environments for students and aspiring songwriters to hone their craft. Conversations with industry professionals are regular happenings and the relationships that come from participating in these classes have yielded some exciting co-writes as well. Overall, Deanna’s class is a great option for the aspiring songwriter to self-evaluate, grow, and plug into the writing community.”
Rivers Rutherford

“There are a lot of options these days when it comes to songwriting workshops or classes. But there are just a few with the warmth, fun and knowledge that Deanna Walker brings to the classroom. I’ve been a guest speaker several times. I usually arrive to these things a little nervous and anxious. But as soon as I sit down, Deanna’s smile melts away any nervousness. She knows each guest speaker very well, so her questions hit to the core of the guests she invites. I think this charm trickles down on every student that experiences her classes. It’s always a learning experience, for teacher and student. I wish her class would have existed when I first moved to Nashville. I would have been way ahead of the game.”
Don Henry
